Latest News!!! - Last update: 15 December 2007

Members of Mullingar Jets travelled to the National Aquatic Centre for a Gala on Sunday 9th December 2007. We had 4 swimmers in the medals. They were Helena & William Hayes, Ciaran Ronan & Siobhan Ryan. Congrats and well done to these and all the swimmers involved as well as coaches and parents who helped out on the day. Mullingar Jets Annual Club Gala was held in Annebrook swimming pool on Saturday 15th December 2007. There was a good turnout from club members from all categories through yellows right up to squads. This gala was particularly exciting for many new members in our yellow groups, as it was their first gala. The gala ran from 2 to 5 p.m. Members gave an excellent display of competitive swimming from under sevens right up to 14 years and older. The annual shield and the cup were decided on the day. The winners of the shield were Helena Hayes and Paul Coady and the winners of the cup were Joseph Murray and Jill Leavey. Please see photos below along with group photos of some of the other medal winners on the day.
The committee on behalf of parents and members would like to thank the coaches for their excellent work throughout the year and we look forward to further success in the pool in 2008. The committee wish a happy Christmas and New Year to all members, coaches and their families. Remember swimming recommences on the 7th of January 2008.
